SIP names Brian Barlow as sole Chief Executive Officer

Sidewalk Infrastructure Partners’ Board of Directors announced the departure of Jonathan Winer and the appointment of Brian Barlow as the sole Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately.

Brian Barlow has served as the co-CEO since co-founding SIP. He brings over three decades of executive and senior management experience in private equity, venture capital, and infrastructure investing. Brian serves on the boards of all of SIP’s platform companies, and his leadership will guide the company through its continued development.

SIP co-founder and former co-CEO Jonathan Winer has left the company, which he helped co-found over seven years ago as a spin-out from Sidewalk Labs. Jonathan is proud of the innovative ways SIP’s platforms have applied technology to advance sustainable infrastructure. He remains passionate about launching new businesses where disruptive infrastructure technologies can be de-risked and deployed at scale and has left SIP to focus more time on these new ventures.
